Blueys Motel Policies

Cancellation/Refund/Booking Policy

14 Day Cancellation

•             Notification Requirement: All cancellations and refund requests must be provided in writing.

•             Permissible Cancellations/Amendments: Cancellations and date amendments are allowed up to the close of business 14 days before arrival.

•             Late Cancellations/Amendments: Requests made without 14 days' notice will incur a fee equivalent to the paid deposit amount or full tariff.

•             No Shows: Will be charged in full.

•             Illness (Including COVID-19): Reservation can be transferred to a friend or family member for the same dates.

Pandemic Lockdown, Natural Disaster, or State/National Emergency

•             Credit Conversion: Non-refundable deposits and prepaid tariffs will be converted to a credit for use within 12 months if the booking is canceled due to such events.

Part-Cancellation

•             Tariff Adjustment: The manager may adjust previously agreed tariffs based on the revised number of bookings or guests.

Refund Processing

•             Schedule: All refunds are processed weekly.

General Terms

•             Age Restrictions:

Bookings are not accepted from individuals under 24 years of age.

Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (parent/guardian).

Non-compliance with this condition may result in reservation cancellation.

•             Security Deposit:

A credit card is required as security against incidentals.

If no credit card is provided, a $200 cash bond is required, refundable upon departure.

•             Pets Policy:

Pets are not permitted.

Disability support animals may be accepted at management's discretion.

•             Rates and Availability:

All rates are quoted subject to availability and possible alteration.

Discount rates are limited offers and may have minimum stay requirements.

•             Accuracy of Information:

Blueys Motel strives to ensure accuracy but does not accept liability for errors or omissions.

The right to change information is reserved.

•             Restaurant & Day Spa Bookings:

Must be confirmed with the vendors at least 24 hours before arrival.

Spots are not guaranteed unless confirmed directly with the service provider.

•             Room Number Requests:

While efforts are made to accommodate preferred room numbers, they are not guaranteed.

Risk Warning

Motel management wishes to warn all persons engaging in any recreational activity on or near the Motel grounds that such activities involve the risk of harm or serious personal injury, including but not limited to:

•             Injuries: Death, drowning, head, eye, or spinal injury, paralysis, broken limbs, strains, or other physical harm.

Before engaging in any activity, all occupants, guests, or other persons should ensure they are aware of all potential risks, including those related to any pre-existing health conditions. These activities and facilities include but are not limited to:

•             Swimming Pools and Water Activities: Risks include serious personal injury or death from drowning, head, eye, or spinal injuries, paralysis, broken limbs, strains, lacerations, flips, somersaults, and inverted maneuvers (which are prohibited), diving headfirst, slips, trips, falls, and running on wet surfaces.

•             Operation of Vehicles, Plant, and Equipment

•             Sporting and Children’s Activities

•             Exercise and Gym Equipment

•             Interaction with Wildlife

•             Trips, Falls, and Collisions: Including interaction with other guests and their property.

•             Walking or Running Over Uneven Surfaces and Grounds

•             Tiled Surfaces and Wet Areas: Resulting in slips, trips, or falls.

•             Walking in Unlit/Poorly Lit Areas: May require carrying a torch or other form of lighting.

•             Exposure to the Natural Environment (Flora & Fauna): Including the risk of falling tree limbs.

Important Notes:

•             Supervision: Children and infants must be supervised by an adult at all times.

•             Assumption of Risk: By entering the Motel, it is accepted that all activities, including recreational activities, carry inherent risks. Management is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from such activities.

•             Indemnity: By entering the Motel, it is agreed that management, owners, employees, or agents are indemnified against all claims for injury, loss, damage, or theft of property.
